Demuerte Black
DEMUERTE BLACK is a red wine made from Monastrell grapes, the variety of the Yecla area. Old strains of free pre-phylloxeric standing that have a low yield but that give a fruit of great flavor and that has a high concentration of nutrients that offer a raw material of high quality.
Grapes that are collected manually, at the precise moment when they are ripe, in small boxes (where they can fit between 10 and 12 kilos of fruit) so that they do not be beaten or damaged.
They produce a wine that is aged in French Allier oak barrels for 20 months. That wine is cherry red with a high intensity. Clean and bright, with an intense smell reminiscent of ripe fruit, currants and jams, but also spices such as cinnamon or seeds such as cocoa.
All this makes the wine soft and pleasant, round, appreciated by its silky tannins, and the drink to be very long, with friendly toasted notes.
To make the most of it, the wine must be consumed between 16 and 18o C. An ideal temperature to appreciate the wine in all its splendor.
As a good red wine, this broth is beautifully paired with dishes in which meat is its star ingredient. Especially with red meats, which are flavored, helping diners clean their remains in the mouth of any fat that can hold each bite. Which allows you to start from scratch at every moment.
An unbeatable look
As if all this wasn’t enough, DEMUERTE BLACK has an elegant look, completely different from other wines you’ll find on the market. This wine is presented inside a rigid case of matte black, on whose upper exterior face has been screen-printed the silhouette of a skull (a constant in our DEMUERTE wines) in the Mexican style in bright black.
Once we open the box (separating the top cover) we find the black bottle, which on its central front face has a black label where, again, the silhouette of the skull appearing in the same box is reproduced. But, if there is anything different and striking about all this is that, on this occasion, the eye sockets of the skull that serves as the corporate image of this wine, have been covered with two crystals of the Swarovski brand, what gives it an air of distinction and attracts the attention of those who see it for the first time.
Hence, in addition, many people resort to this wine when they have to make a gift or come as guests for a meal or dinner. And the reception of it is always very positive.
